The original Scotty's Brewhouse Muncie location has closed its doors for good.

"Thank you for all the years of patronage and we will miss Muncie," according to a sign placed on the restaurant door Thursday.

More Scotty’s Brewhouse stores will close by the end of the month, according to a press release.

These closings are due to the company filing for bankruptcy Tuesday and a move to close “underperforming” stores by year’s end. The release does not list which locations will close.

The original Scotty’s Brewhouse restaurant opened in 1996 in The Village, which declined to comment Dec.12. The Daily News left a voicemail for Scotty’s Brewhouse corporate.

This story will be updated.
