Student trustee Marlee Jacocks looks to become more receptive

It’s been a few weeks since student trustee Marlee Jacocks attended her first Board of Trustees meeting and since then, Jacocks has found herself looking to become more receptive to students, educated about Ball State, but most importantly — reminding everyone she’s also a student.

Muncie resident scams HotBox Pizza

Turns out, pizza really is a hot commodity in Muncie. The victim, HotBox Pizza, filed a police report for a theft of food delivered to a Muncie resident on Aug. 23.

University email warns students of hurricane scam

At 1:20 p.m. the Ball State office of information security services sent out an email warning students, faculty and staff to be aware of possible scams posing as relief efforts for Texas residents affected by Hurricane Harvey.

English professors add to Little Free Libraries on campus

The walls in the shared space between Robert Bell and the David Letterman Communication buildings are often beige and bare, minus the English department bulletin board filled with miscellaneous posters for events throughout the university.
