At the beginning of the 2023 fall semester, North Hall will be named the Jack Beyerl Residence Hall, according to the Office of Housing and Residence Life.

African Student Association hosts Afro Gala in Cardinal Hall

The Ball State African Student Association (ASA) hosted the first Annual Afro Gala March 31  in Cardinal Hall at the Student Center. This year's theme was “Africa” and celebrated African culture for its beauty and life. This event was a fundraiser for the Bramble Foundation in Nigeria.

Three children and three adults were killed in a shooting at a private Christian grade school in Nashville on Monday, hospital officials said. Police said the suspect is dead after a confrontation with officers. Police said the shooter was a 28-year-old woman from Nashville, after initially saying she appeared to be in her teens.
