May 17, the Orlando Magic won the NBA Draft Lottery, meaning they will select first overall in the 2022 NBA Draft held June 23. However, is the NBA right for holding a lottery or should the worst team automatically be given the first pick?

Not because I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, but because I didn’t really know who I was anymore. Hawai'i wins second consecutive NCAA National Championship

364 days after winning the NCAA National Championship, Hawai'i Men's Volleyball (27-5, 7-3 BWC) is back on top of the collegiate game. The Rainbow Warriors are now consecutive champions and have appeared in three of the last four NCAA Tournament finals (no tournament held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic).

Women's Tennis exits NCAA Tournament in opening round

Ball State Women's Tennis (19-4, 8-2 MAC) traveled to Austin, Texas for the first-round NCAA Tournament against the University of Texas (21-4, 8-1 BIG12) May 6 as the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament Champions. The Longhorns swept the Cardinals in the doubles and singles matches to end Ball State's postseason run.

Hawai'i ends Cardinals' historic season

After a five-set thriller at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California, Ball State Men's Volleyball's (23-4, 12-2 MIVA) 2022 season came to an end at the hands of the University of Hawai'i (26-5, 7-3 BWC).

Cardinals prepare for rematch against Hawai'i in national semifinal

Ball State Men's Volleyball (23-3, 12-2 MIVA) has played the University of Hawaii (25-5, 7-3 BWC) twice already this season, running out winners Jan. 29 (3-0) and Jan. 31 (3-2). In less than 24 hours the Cardinals will play the Rainbow Warriors for the third time in 2022, this time with a trip to the National Championship match on the line.
