Springtime is coming, Ball State, and I’m getting excited for the puddles, flowers and being able to go outside without risking the loss of a limb due to a polar vortex. But, my friends, this all comes at a price.
There’s one bracket every year I have the most fun filling out. I pick the winners based on which team’s mascot would win in a fight.
Measles was least expected in the United States. So, what has happened? Did we become a war zone? Do we have low resources? We ran short of vaccines? Or there is a sudden genetic change in the American population that makes us vulnerable to measles like infections?
Ah, the college life. We are now “grown” and “responsible” with no one to dictate our choices day-to-day. For those like me who had pretty lenient parents, this transition didn’t shake up my life too much.

But, as you hit your home screen, you get a pop-up message: “Please login to iCloud account.”

Our Republican majority legislature should shift its focus from increasing the availability of guns in public places to sensible gun regulation such as the three bills in committee that would require background checks on all gun sales in Indiana.

This year’s Student Government Association (SGA) election features three slates running with a total of 38 platform points between them, each with its own personality, passion and problems.
As we participate in Ball State University’s Centennial Celebration, we are reminded of how much good Ball State has done for its students.
