A lack of information provided as Ball State UPD responded to a report of a gun discharge led to spread of confusion and rumors on campus

Confusion and uncertainty were common refrains from some students who said they didn’t know what to do when a report of a gunshot on campus Sept. 16 sent questions circulating online, especially after videos showing university police officers with visible weapons standing outside one residence hall were shared.

Indiana attorney general faces disciplinary action

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita faces disciplinary charges brought by the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission. Rokita faces three charges, all alleged violations of the Indiana Rule of Professional Conduct.

 At the Music For All Summer Symposium, held on Ball State’s campus June 24 through July 1, there’s a team of people called SWAGs behind every practice session, every fun activity, or even group transportation around campus.

Hope Churchill begins term as Ball State’s student trustee

For Ball State, the student trustee must be a resident of Indiana and have a 2.5 or better grade point average at the time of the application. The position includes $50 for each meeting and Commencement attended, a 10% discount at the Ball State bookstore, and an all-access parking pass, among many things.
