Road closures planned around Muncie

Road closures planned around Muncie

Road closures are planned in Muncie as the summer public works projects begin. 

Community members can expect detours this summer and fall as the public works team is working on significant projects.

Here are the upcoming dates and estimates for the projects. 

Wheeling Avenue 

  • Where: From Neely to Riverside.
  • When: June 5 to July 14.

Jefferson

  • Where: Near Memorial. Work is currently ongoing. 
  • How long: 3-4 weeks. 

Riverside 

  • Where: Tillotson to Jackson. Work is currently ongoing. 
  • How long: 2 months. 

Madison

  • Where: North side of the roundabout 
  • When: June 7-10

Pettigrew Neighborhood 

  • When: June 19-24

All the dates are tentative and will depend on the weather and manpower.
