Warning: Plenty of rain today for the first day of fall. Over an inch and a half of rain fell here in Muncie. This lead to a flood warning being issued for parts of the white river from Indianapolis up through Anderson. That warning is in effect until Saturday.

Watch: As well as the flood warning, a Flood Watch is in effect for Blackford county as well as Jay county. That watch extends up to fort wain as well as parts of Northwestern Ohio. This watch is in effect until 8:00 am tomorrow morning.

Not only did we see a lot of rain across the area today thanks to a cold front pushing through last night, as well as another low pressure system moving through today, we are seeing some late fall like temperatures. Yesterday we had high temperatures up into the lower 70's as well as the lower 80's for some parts around central Indiana. Now we are seeing temperatures drop down into the lower 50's as well as even the upper 40's.

Tonight: Expect to see the temperatures continue to drop tonight and into tomorrow morning. Tonight low of 46 degrees with rain showers throughout the evening and into tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow: Another chilly start to your day tomorrow as well as some rain showers at 9am. So it might not be a bad idea to break out your fall wardrobe and start to incorporate some outfits with longer sleeves. It is also not a bad idea to grab a rain jacket and umbrella as you head out the door tomorrow, since the showers will be sticking around the tomorrow afternoon. Not warming up much tomorrow getting up to only 52 for your high and rain showers finally moving out before the late afternoon.

7-Day: Rain continuing from the first half of the week, but we will see the return of sunshine on Friday. But I tracking the possibility of some more rain for your day Saturday. Most areas will remain dry but cannot rule out a morning shower or two. Sunshine and warm temperatures returning for the beginning of next week, with temperatures cooling down just a little bit on Tuesday and Wednesday to feel more like fall.
