In a campus-wide email sent Friday morning, Vice President for Student Affairs Ro-Anne Royer Engle said Ball State will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the Health Professions Building.

The clinic has been authorized by the Delaware County Health Department and funded by a $5,000 grant from the Ball Brothers Foundation awarded Feb. 15, 2021.

Beginning March 19, the vaccination clinic will be open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. Individuals must meet state criteria to receive a vaccine and visit OurShot.in.gov or call 211 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to schedule and appointment.

Anyone registered through the state website is eligible to receive a vaccine at the Health Professions Building, Royer Engle said in the email.

"We believe the presence of a COVID-19 vaccine site on campus is a community partnership that makes receiving vaccines more convenient for our students, faculty, and staff who become eligible and reinforces our commitment to be of service to our community," Royer Engle said. "We are honored to serve our neighbors and to play a role in continuing to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community."
